Rates

The hourly cost for private lessons is $25 for one instructor or $40 for a couple plus studio rental (typically $20-$25/hour plus GST depending on time, day and location).

Private lessons cover 1-4 people. Custom tailored lessons for groups of more than 4 are available. See our group lessons for details. You can also save the studio rental if you have access to your own dance space.

Private or Group Lessons?

Private lessons are great if you have some dance experience and want to work on specific aspects of your dancing with personalized instructor feedback. Privates are also great if you want to work on say, choreography for a wedding dance.

Traditional lessons are usually better and much less expensive if you are completely new to partner dancing. Our traditional lessons (classes and workshops) also allow you to practice moves and technique with different partners which can help you learn and improve quickly.
