West Coast Swing Workshop - Thank-you
a smashing success!
Thank-you to everyone who made our West Coast Swing workshop a smashing success: Nancy and Deborah for teaching and filling in in class, the Saskatoon Lindy Hop team for helping out with the dance, Anita from defSOL for providing a great space for the dance, Jay for helping with the music and of course everyone who made it out, especially Amanda and Devin who drove up from Moose Jaw. This has been our most successful workshop weekend yet!
The Swing, Blues and Soul dance also had great energy, it's unfortunate we had to end at midnight. We will be donating $140 from the dance do the Canadian Red Cross to help with relief efforts in Haiti.

S.W.I.N.G. Showcase
(See What Inspires New Generations? Swinging With Intense Nostalgic Goodness?)
Thank-you to all the performers and guests who attended the S.W.I.N.G. Showcase on October 28. The event was a success, raising about $1000 to help host the 10th edition of the Prairie Lindy Exchange hosted in Saskatoon next March.

Toon Town Swing Lindy Hoppers debut performance!
The Toon Town Swing Lindy Hoppers performed their new showcase routine at the WinterShines Ice Shaker dance party this past Saturday.
Everyone had a fantastic time, thanks to the organizers and sponsors. The team did a great job showing off how fun swing dancing can be! Contratulations Heidi, Shannon, Liz, Jay, Brendan and Dave.
